Hangover & Reminisces..

The hangover of Sales Meet was pretty evident today. Everyone seemed to be talking about it or atleast gossiping about it.

The day turned out to be nice for me with some important things falling to its place after lonng time. However being associated with more than one boss, who offloads most of their work to you & expects you to make it a priority is something which has kept me on my toes for quite a while now. It becomes terrible at times & you tend to goof up in everything for which you are being made responsible! Nothing to worry..its not uncommon though..lolz!!!

I was so engrossed in all the stuff that I actually forgot to call 'Pinki Maasi', whom I had planned to meet today.(Well this is just another excuse spelled out by the "Excuse Master"). Pinki Maasi had come to Pune to attend one of her relative's wedding. She was here since last three days but much to my carefree attitude i cudnt make it to meet her, not even for half an hour. God knows what impression she might have taken along with her.

But noways mom was gonna take this nonsense of mine. Not this time atleast! I mean i cannot always make same excuses, though this time it was quite genuine.

Neways but the best thing which happened today was I met Mansi Bhabhi & Suj at Kaveri Chachi's place.

Well this was the first time i actually met Mansi Bhabhi after her marriage.

I still remember meeting her for the first time at Dadar's CCD before her marriage, somewhere around in Sept'07. Everyone tends to reveal & share their personal suff with 'bhabhis'. But in the very first meeting itself?

Well u simply wudnt want to hide nething from her. Besides she listens, with a great interest. Her solutions are like her, simple & easy going.

I would say she tops the list of my favourite bhabhis....
(As if i have hundreds of bhabhis! lol!)

Actually she's amongst the few people whom i knoe & are my favourite.

She is this one person who has got smiles & joy onto many people's lives. Every passing moment just narrates her memories. As if she is talking to us, listening to us.. She's become sweetheart of everybody!

Statutory warnings: 1. fingers crossed while telling abt her. 2. Its is advisable to her to use some 'kajal'...(Kahi nazar na lag jaye!)

18.12.08: 22:00 hrs: Just got call from bhabhi. Its so amazing to see a person who keeps up with her words. Its rare, nowadays. She called up from airport to say good bye. She would be missed here by everybody.

But more then anybody else, someone might have missed her a lot since almost 2 months. Yup, Sujay bhaiya. They actually compliment each other. Truly 'Rab ne bana di jodi'... A beautiful pair just getting more beautiful by each passing day!

So much so that we have even decided to pay tribute to our dear bhabhi by actually making a 'Bhojpuri Movie' titled 'Bhaujai hamara pardes maa'!! isnt that cool?

Well script was already rolled out to her during our dinner at '1000 oaks', which turned out to be another laughter riot. All thanx to Suj!! Dinner according to Bhabhi & Suj, was gr8.. For me their presence..

Well there's more to come..Stay on..

BMW..

Sales meets happens once in a while, but they give you the exam alike feeling. I am actually feeling relieved & relaxed after such a hardwork(work?) of compiling stuff & putting it together to impress management or to reduce the intensity of managements's wrath!

Howsoever you manage to manipulate, you are bound to get caught by them for the simple reason that their interest lies only in returns, rather returns in real terms. Well, let my boss worry about it!

But the fact remains that in efforts of compiling the stuff i actually skipped my meals today. Not a very healthy option in the situation where the last thing on my priority list is my health. Oops hygeine too(havent cleaned my dirty socks too).

As i had left my vehicle at our Marketing office where we all are put up, I had to wait downstairs(at Corporate Office) for one of my colleague to actually drop me at my place. While chatting with Natasha(my colleague), I learnt that she was more than satisfied with the meeting, trying hard to keep her excitment under the wraps(atleast in front of me). She is in complete awe with our CEO, whom she think is the most soft-spoken & the intelligent person around (at present).

'Excuse me! I seriously diifer', I said. 'I think owner of the company(Director) is more smarter & intelligent'. Next moment the swanky BMW emerged in front of us at the entrance, waiting for our Director to grace it with his presence! Chauffer opened the door of BMW for his master.(for car there is 'Driver' but for BMW there has to be 'Chauffer'). Within a moment it just sped away leaving our mouths wide open.

Well, my opinion turned out to be right!

Spirit of Mumbai - Fading

Its sounds like a just another cliche now..Mumbai never dies. Nothing can lay down spirit of Mumbai.
Everytime something terrible happens to Mumbai, we console each other by saying this.
Neways, this time, its not the same. Because what has happened indicates the uncertainty which lies ahead. It makes us think as to what future has in store for us. terror?

What the hell these leaders think when they publicly(proudly) announce the compensatory packages for the families of victims? Rs. 25 Lakhs to the family of each one who died.
When even wounds of people have not dried, why are such things being announced, that too publicly? is public really interested in knowing as to how much is been given to these families of victims?
Compensation has to be given, but these can be given even without making noise of it.

Then they say its an attack on India, its sovereignty, integrity! well agreed! but whats our plan of action? how are we planning to counter them?
After getting so many evidences of nationality of these terrorists, why are we still not explicitly saying it? why are our leaders still not going tough with the neighbours who are responsible for this?

Death toll in Mumbai terror attacks has reached almost 200. Many bodies of hostages have been found till now. Whether they could have been saved?
Not enough efforts were taken by the government to negotiate with these terrorists. May be we could have saved in some more people.

Nevertheless so called "spirit of Mumbai" have been kept alive, though this time by NSG commandos & others who readily led down their lives to save Mumbai, to save India.

Salute to these mighty souls!!!
